Windust, Bretaigne
1906-1960
   Prestigioso director teatral en Broadway; en una decada, de finales de los anos 40 a finales de los anos 50, realizo unas pocas peliculas y algunos capitulos de series de television que demuestran con creces su profesionalidad. Dirige solo un western o, mejor dicho, medio, porque Face to Face es una pelicula que contiene dos historias autonomas, una de ellas, The Secret Sharer, dirigida por John Brahm, y la otra, The Bride Comes to Yellow Sky, dirigida por Windust. La primera parte esta basada en el relato “El corazon de las tinieblas” (“Heart of Darkness”), de Joseph Conrad; la segunda, en el relato homonimo de Stephen Crane. La duracion que se indica es la de la totalidad del filme, que habra que dividir por dos, aproximadamente, para obtener la del mencionado western de Bretaigne Windust.
